About Me
Hi, my name is Aaron. I have a Certificate in the Therapeutic and Educational Application of the Arts and a MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy from The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE), awarded by London Metropolitan University
I attended the Child 20 Day Program run by IATE and the Corrective Attachment Therapy Parenting Course at The Evergreen Psychotherapy Centre in Colorado, USA.
I’ve also a trained Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and work with the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). Both powerful body based 'talking therapy’s ' , capable of relieving physical, emotional and psychological shock, stress and trauma.
Most recently I have trained in a new and powerful modality call HeartHealing™️. I am currently the only man in the world offering this service. Clients report deep transformational results in single 60 minute sesssions.
I have been practicing Buddhism for the past 30 years which has given a deep understanding of my self and human nature.
I work with Men & Women, young people and children. Between 2005 - 2010, I worked as the only male Psychotherapist at Whitehawk Primary School , Brighton, seeing both adults and children. I also worked with young people (ages 13- 25) at the Young Peoples Centre, in Brighton.
Prior to my therapy training, I worked in the Performing Arts profession and am well aware of the strains and stresses of working in that industry. I taught Acting for Camera at many of the top Drama Schools. (Central School of Speech & Drama, Drama Centre). I was also Lecturer in Performing Arts at Bexhill 6th form College.
I have many years of working with Young Men and Men and understand the struggles they go through, especially Anger and Depression.
I was a founder member of A Band of Brothers, (8 years). a charity established by men committed to positive social change through personal development and community building. We mentor young men who have had challenges with drugs, violence, anger and self esteem.
I adopted a young boy and also understand the challenges & joys of Adoption.
I am a member of BACP and adhere to thier Code of Ethics, and provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
As a Psychotherapist I am in regular supervision. This is an important part of my work. It means that I can maintain the highest standards of care, always working towards your well being.

Cost:
As a way of making this service available to more people I have introduced sliding scale payment options. You choose which rate to pay based on your circumstances. If your on a low income, student or other circumstances, please get in touch, as I sometimes have concessionary slots available.
I also give 5% of my income to charity.
When working with me you will be contributing financially to the Refuge Crisis, Food Poverty & Restoring the Natural World
Full rate: £120. For incomes above £ 50,000
Middle rate: £85. For incomes less than £50,000
Lower rate: £70. For incomes less than £40,000
I need 48 hours notice for any cancellations, otherwise I have to charge.
